A massive Basketball Champions League campaign with Telenet Giants Antwerp brought Paris Lee to Brose Bamberg. The 24-year-old American guard gathered the attention of various sides, but ultimately signed a two-year contract with the German Basketball Champions League club, his new team announced on Saturday.

“I am very happy that it worked” Lee noted and added that he was keen on following his head coach at Antwerp, Roel Moors, at Bamberg: “Certainly Coach Moors influenced my decision. We had two very good years in Antwerp, where I learned a lot from him.”

“I want to continue improving at both ends of the floor with Bamberg. I am a winner who likes to play fast and aggressive. But besides all that, I’m still learning. And I’m willing to do that. The coach has always made sure that I improve every day. That’s exactly what I want to do at Brose. I can not wait for it to start” he also mentioned.

He is coming off a strong 2018-19 season marked by a BCL Final Four berth. He got off to hot start with 13.8 points in four qualifying games and went on with 12.7 points, 5 assists and 2.5 rebounds per contest the rest of the way.

In his second EuroMillions Basketball League campaign, the Illinois State alumni gained MVP honors by posting 11.4 points, 3,4 assists and 2 rebounds per Regular Season match. He had 11.8 points, 4.1 assists and 2.1 rebounds per game in the Playoffs as well.
