French Basketball Champions League club Strasbourg announced the signing of American guard Gabe York for the 2019-2020 season.
York, 25, began 2018-2019 in the G-League with the Lakeland Magic before joining AEK Athens on May. With the Greek side, York averaged 12.9 points, 2.1 rebounds, and 1.8 assists.
With Strasbourg, York will be making his French Jeep Elite League debut while returning to the Basketball Champions League. He was one of the standout guards of the competition in 2017-2018 when he averaged 16.9 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.4 assists with German team Medi Bayreuth.
