Ivan Strebkov gained a two-year contract extension from Nizhny Novgorod.

Former CSKA Moscow and Avtodor Saratov point guard, Ivan Strebkov, penned a new two-year deal with Nizhny Novgorod, the Russian team announced on Thursday. He is now set for his fifth season with NN.

The 27-year-old Russian posted 12.6 points, 4.9 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 1 steal per Basketball Champions League game last season. He will compete in the BCL once more this year with his side starting off from the second qualifying round.

In 15 VTB United League matches during his 2018-19 campaign, Strebkov averaged 12.4 points, 4.9 assists, 2.5 rebounds and 1 steal. The 2019-20 season will mark his sixth VTB campaign.
