Giannoulis Larentzakis confirmed via post on Instagram that his time with AEK is over. The Queen and the 25-year-old Greek guard previously agreed on the terms for early termination of their contract.
Larentzakis jumped to AEK three years ago. He since captured titles in the Basketball Champions League, the FIBA Intercontinental Cup and the Greek Cup becoming a fan favorite in the process.
The Greek club later formalized his exit via announcement. Larentzakis is now a free agent able to negotiate a contract with teams of his choosing.
