SIG Strasbourg recovered immediately from a sluggish start to the second period and comfortably held on the rest of the way for the 77-64 victory versus Filou Oostende on Tuesday.

Vincent Collet got Damien Inglis back in July and the 24-year-old forward was crucial in the Basketball Champions League Regular Season Gameday 1 affair with 14 points to go along with his 7 rebounds. Jerai Grant notched a team-high 15 points, Gabe York added 13 and Travis Trice 12.

Dario Gjergja’s club temporally got in the lead in the beginning of the second quarter, but could not build on its early run. Shevon Thompson posted 16 points and Braian Angola put up 13 points. Lack of team effort in defense was costly at Strasbourg’s Rhenus Sport.

The hosts marched to the 1-0 W-L tally dropping their opponents to 0-1.
