ERA Nymburk doubled-up in its Basketball Champions League campaign with the 74-72 overtime victory versus Gaziantep on Tuesday at the Kralovka Arena.

The Regular Season Group C match saw the home side go ahead 37-17 in the second quarter following a 15-0 run. A furious rally from the Turkish club ultimately forced five extra minutes at Prague.

Zach Hankins missed a couple of free throws with two seconds to go in the fourth quarter, but was on hand afterwards with the buzzer-beating effort lifting Oren Amiel’s side to 2-0.

The 23-year-old rookie center fresh out of Xavier ended up with 14 points. His captain Petr Benda notched a team-high 16 points.

Gaziantep’s Drew Crawford ended up with 20 points including the game-tying three-pointer with four second left in the fourth period. However Nenad Markovic’s team is now 0-2.
