San Pablo Burgos was five points away from breaking the highest-scoring record (114) in a single game as they logged a 110-78 home win vs. Anwil Wloclawek in Basketball Champions League Group B. Burgos improved to 2-0 while Anwil is still waiting for their first win (0-2).
Thaddus McFadden shot 5-8 from deep on his way to 20 points while Augusto Lima added 15 and Bruno Fitipaldo 13 points. Jasiel Rivero notched a double-double with 12 points and 16 rebounds.
For Anwil, Tony Wroten banked game-high 24 points on 9-12 shooting while Rolands Freimanis helped with 12 points.
Burgos was ahead 27-20 after ten minutes and 50-39 at halftime. They improved the gap to a 17-point margin (77-60) and kept going in the fourth quarter, leading by as much as 37 points (110-73).
