With the support of the Pais Arena crowd, Hapoel Bank Yahav Jerusalem went past AEK, 85-78, in Basketball Champions League Regular Season Group B action on Wednesday.

James Feldeine posted a team-high 19 points including 7 down the stretch, Suleiman Braimoh followed with 17 in the BCL Gameday 2 tilt. TaShawn Thomas scored 16 points, also tallied 7 rebounds and 4 dimes.

In-form Keith Langford finished with 27 points making 7/9 threes, but could not prevent Oded Kattash’s side from jumping to a 2-0 start. Howard Sant-Roos posted an 18-point, 10-rebound double-double.

The visitors favored by the high tempo led most of the way, even got a double-digit advantage in the third period and were up 72-64 early in the fourth, but could not seal the deal and fell to 1-1.
