Brandon Brown put on a strong performance as Nizhny Novgorod routed Brose Bamberg on the road

Nizhny Novgorod played two away games at the start of the 2019-20 Basketball Champions League and they had everything under control in the second one, logging a convincing 73-58 win over Brose Bamberg.

Nizhny Novgorod now holds a 1-1 record while Brose Bamberg lost both games (0-2) in Group C.

Brandon Brown led the way with 19 points on 9-12 shooting followed by Darrlyn Willis with 14 and Alec Brown with 11 points. Brown also dished nine assists.

For Bamberg, Elias Harris scored 15 while Louis Olinde added 11 points and nine rebounds.

Nizhny was ahead 26-17 after ten minutes and was already up by 22 points at halftime (46-24). They led by as much as 28 points (55-27) after the break and Brose couldn’t get closer than 12 points (70-58), just softening the blow in the end.
