Despite only making 5/23 from three-point range, SIG Strasbourg managed to defeat BAXI Manresaa, 81-63, at the Rhenus Sport.

Missing threes was certainly a trend on Tuesday, but five players of the winning side scored in double-digits. Gabe York sank three three-pointers for 17 points. Jerai Grant also put up 17 points, grabbed nine rebounds as well. Damien Inglis followed with 13 points, Boris Dallo and Thomas Scrubb added ten points apiece.

The Basketball Champions League Regular Season Gameday 3 tilt featured two teams struggling beyond the arc. Aside the French team’s 21.7%, the Spanish side was held to 22.2% with a disappointing tally of 6/27.

With a 46-32 advantage on points in the paint, Vincent Collet’s team caught Pedro Martinez’s at 2-1 in the Group A standings.

An 18-0 run from the first period midway through the second allowed the home side to control the rest of the match.

Jordan Davis’ game-high 17 points was not nearly enough for the visitors. William Magarity posted 12 points.
