Anwil Wloclawek overcame a sluggish start to defeat EB Pau-Lacq-Orthez.

Both teams were down 0-2 in Group B of the Basketball Champions League Regular Season, but Anwil Wloclawek got off the mark with the 95-87 victory versus EB Pau-Lacq-Orthez at the Hala Mistrow on Tuesday.

Tony Wroten led a seven-player pack of double-digit scoring performances with 23 points. The Washington alumni contributed to the first half turnaround with 16 points to finish with 9/11 from the field for Igor Milicic’s squad.

The Polish champions made their way back from an early double-digit deficit in the Gameday 3 affair to improve to 1-2. In complete contrast, Laurent Vila’s side fell to 0-3 with its fifth straight loss in all competitions.

Tyrus McGee put up 22 points for the visitors in the packed house. Cheikh Mbodj followed with 13 points, tallied eight rebounds as well.
