Neptunas Klaipeda controlled the pace to beat PAOK, 94-72, at the PAOK Sports Arena on Tuesday.

Five players went over ten points in the Basketball Champions League Regular Season Group D Gameday 3 affair. Deividas Gailius put up a team-high 13 points, Osvaldas Olisevicius had 10 by halftime and 12 overall. Simas Galdikas added an 11-point, 10-rebound double-double, Gytis Masiulis scored 11 points and Tomas Delininkaitis 10.

The Lithuanian side closed the first quarter up 21 points and did not give up the lead despite Kostas Flevarakis’ team clawing its way back to a two-point deficit. Tomas Rinkevicius’ club ultimately improved to 2-1 dropping the hosts to 0-3.

Adam Smith poured a game-high 19 points, but his team struggled to contain Neptunas throughout the 40 minutes. Antwaine Wiggins ended up with an 17-point, 10-rebound double-double in losing effort.
