Casademont Zaragoza came face-to-face with an upset, but escaped with the 70-69 victory against Falco Szombathely at the Pabellon Principe Felipe on Wednesday.

Nemanja Radovic earned player of the match status making the winning putback with ten seconds to go. The clutch effort added on the 27-year-old Montenegrin forward’s 14-point, 11-rebound double-double in the Basketball Champions League Regular Season Gameday 3 affair.

Aside the defensive effort in the last seconds, offensive contribution from the bench was needed for the hosts to claim victory. Robin Benzing and Tryggvi Hlinason combined for 26 points with Zaragoza enjoying a 31-19 advantage from reserves.

Zoltan Perl notched a game-high 15 points for the visitors. Juvonte Reddic had 12 and Szilard Benke 11.

The second straight BCL win for Porfirio Fisac’s team brought the 2-1 W-L tally in Group D. Gasper Okorn’s club fell to 1-2.
