Iberostar Tenerife is still perfect in the Basketball Champions League following the 78-68 victory versus ERA Nymburk at Prague on Tuesday.

Marcelo Huertas was not the top scorer at the Kralovka Arena with his 11 points, but dished nine assists for Txus Vidorreta’s club. Four of his assists were converted to points by Giorgi Shermadini making most of his overall tally of 15.

Lahaou Konate poured a game-high 17 points, also took down eight rebounds. The 27-year-old French swingman made six steals as well marking the largest cut in the team total of 20 interceptions.

With both sides struggling from three-point range in the Regular Season Gameday 4 affair, the visitors dropping 40 points in the paint and allowing 24 was a crucial part of the game.

The hosts held on up to the final minutes despite trailing the entire second half. Vojtech Hruban notched a team-high 13 points without preventing the late collapse, the first 2019-20 defeat in all competitions and the drop of Oren Amiel’s team to 3-1 in Group C.
