Dinamo Sassari took over in the fourth quarter and logged a 113-95 road win against Polski Cukier Torun in Basketball Champions League. Sassari improved to 3-1 compared to Torun’s 1-3 record in Group A.
Dwayne Evans led the winning charge with 29 points on 13-17 shooting followed by Marco Spissu’s 22 and Miro Bilan’s 16 points.
Chris Wright nailed game-high 30 points in addition to Keith Hornsby’s 15 and Aaron Cel’s 14 points.
Sassari was up 26-19 after the first quarter but had the minimal lead (53-52) at halftime. The game stayed balanced in the third quarter with Sassari having a slight upper hand (81-80) but the Italians dominated the final period (27-12) on their way to the win.
