UNET Holon managed to hold off SIG Strasbourg’s fourth-quarter comeback and get away with an 86-81 road win in Basketball Champions League. Both squads now hold a 2-2 record in Group A.

Malachi Richardson scored 17 points for the victors in addition to Guy Pnini’s 14 and Latavious Williams’ 12 points. Williams also grabbed 11 rebounds.

For Strasbourg, Gabe York tried to make things happen with game-high 23 points while Travis Trice added 17 and Damien Inglis 15 points.

Interestingly, York attempted 21 shots from deep and made six (also tried only one two-pointer) while the whole Holon squad shot 10-23 from behind the arc.

Strasbourg was ahead 22-19 after the first quarter but it was a tie at halftime (39-39). Holon stepped up after the break finishing the third period on a 17-4 run (62-50) and although Strasbourg cut the gap to just two points (77-75), Holon managed to stay in front and grab the win.
