The Greek team’s Basketball Champions League losing streak is over.

Overcoming foul-trouble, PAOK improved to 1-4 in Group D of the Basketball Champions League with the 95-91 win over Happy Casa Brindisi on Tuesday.

Adam Smith went for a game-high 27 points in Regular Season Gameday 5 action. Aaron Best fouled out but followed with 19 points, Evangelos Margaritis suffered a similar early exit as well. JeQuan Lewis contributed to the win for the team coached by Kostas Charalampidis with 18 points.

Best and other reserves accounted for 34 points. The Italian club bench only put up 16.

Following 28 lead-changes, Francesco Vitucci’s side fell to 2-3 with the loss at Thessaloniki’s PAOK Sports Arena despite Kelvin Martin’s 23-point outing. John Brown notched 19 points in losing effort.
