Despite underdog status, EB Pau-Lacq-Orthez fought to earn an 81-75 win against Hapoel Bank Yahav Jerusalem on Tuesday.

In his first-ever Basketball Champions League appearance, a few days after joining the French side, Justin Dentmon put on a show down the stretch on both sides of the court. His clutch buckets landed a game-high 22 points.

The hosts mostly leaded, but needed that extra push from the 34-year-old American point guard. Cheikh Mbodj and Petr Cornelie helped out as well with 12 and 11 points, respectively. Tyrus McGee ended up with ten to his name.

Oded Kattash’s side undefeated Group B run ended in Gameday 5 at the Palais des Sports de Pau with the Israeli club falling to 4-1 and Laurent Vila’s squad improving to 2-3.

J’Covan Brown posted a team-high 15 points in losing effort. Idan Zalmanson followed with 12 points and Suleiman Braimoh had 11.
