UNET Holon made a big comeback and came out on top against BAXI Manresa in a close finish in Basketball Champions League

UNET Holon made a big comeback and grabbed a narrow 90-88 home win over BAXI Manresa in Basketball Champions League. Both squads now hold a 3-2 record in Group A.

Marcus Foster scored 23 points for the victors followed by Latavious Williams’ 16 points and 12 rebounds. Troy Caupain added ten including the four points to seal the win.

For Manresa, Ryan Toolson nailed game-high 26 points in addition to Juampi Vaulet’s 13 and Jordan Davis’ ten points.

Manresa started the game better, went ahead 24-13 after ten minutes and led 40-24 before Holon made a 17-3 run to cut the gap to 43-41 at halftime.

The game stayed balanced after the break with Holon being ahead 66-63 at the end of the third and prevailed in the close finish thanks to Latavious Williams and Troy Caupain who scored the last seven of Holon’s points.
