Gaziantep was very close to the win but Iberostar Tenerife hit three shots from deep to turn it around and grab a 69-67 home win.
Tenerife kept a perfect 5-0 record in Group C and stayed the only undefeated team this season in BCL while Gaziantep stayed at one win (1-4).
Sasu Salin finished the game with nine points but hit two three-pointers in the last minute which together Santi Yusta’s triple gave Tenerife the win.
Marcelinho Huertas logged 20 points and ten assists while for Gaziantep, Ivan Buva scored 16 followed by Can Ugur Ogut’s 13 points.
Gaziantep was ahead 15-14 after the first quarter while the score was tied at halftime (32-32). The guests still had an upper hand after the break (54-47) and a 67-60 lead with a bit over a minute remaining but Tenerife banked three straight shots from behind the arc to steal the win.
