Tenerife managed to stay undefeated in Basketball Champions League after a comeback win against Riga on the road led by Gabriel Lundberg

VEF Riga was ahead 64-57 with two minutes left but Tenerife made an 11-0 run to turn the tables and grab a 68-64 road win in Basketball Champions League. Tenerife improved its perfect record to 6-0 while Riga stayed at one win (1-5) in Group C.

Gabriel Lundberg banked 15 points for the victors including a dagger three-pointer while Darion Atkins and Dani Diez added ten points each. Diez also grabbed nine boards.

For Riga, Alexander Madsen notched 14 points and ten boards in addition to Lester Medfords’ 12 points.

Riga tipped off the game better leading 26-11 early and 40-32 at halftime. They also started the second half strong with ten straight points (50-32) but Tenerife started slowly decreasing the deficit and making it a one-possession game (60-57).

Madsen banked four points to keep Riga ahead but Tenerife completely took over with 11 straight points to snatch the win and stay undefeated.
