Riding a comfortable lead most of the way, Happy Casa Brindisi settled for a 98-92 win against Falco Szombathely on Wednesday.

Tyler Stone set a new Basketball Champions League season-high with 19 points, also tallied eight rebounds, three dimes and a pair of blocks in just over 27 minutes of work. Darius Thompson chipped in with 14 points.

Shooting 10/18 from three-point range went a long way for Francesco Vitucci’s club to finish on top at the PalaPentassuglia and form a 3-3 W-L tally in Group D.

The hosts blew the game open from the second quarter. The visitors cut into their deficit late, not in time to put in a claim for victory.

VCU alum Juvonte Reddic posted a game-high 22 points in the Regular Season Gameday 6 tilt for Gasper Okorn’s squad that fell to 2-4.
