BAXI Manresa announced that Frankie Ferrari has suffered a metatarsal bone (fifth) fracture in his left foot during the game against Casademont Zaragoza in the Spanish League.

This injury is long-lasting and will keep him away from the team for a while. The recovery period will depend on its evolution.

Manresa coach Pedro Martinez used the chance to make a joke on his Twitter trying to cheer up his player who’s had injury woes throughout the season and wish him a fast recovery: “Hand break, gastonteritis, foot break. What will be next, Frankie? Maybe you get pregnant? Be strong. We will wait for you”, he wrote.

The 23-year-old American-Italian guard has been averaging 13.4 points, 6.3 assists, and 2.9 rebounds in his first pro season split between the Spanish League and Basketball Champions League.
