The battle of 2-4 teams resulted to a clear victory for Teksut Bandirma.

Almost dropped a comfortable double-digit lead in the last quarter, but resilient Teksut Bandirma powered through for the 96-76 win against EB Pau-Lacq-Orthez on Tuesday.

Seven months before turning 18, Alperen Sengun with a breakout performance finished with 20 points. The Turkish power forward only put up ten points in his first five Champions League appearances.

Tyler Kalinoski followed with 18 points. Jaime Smith added 16 points and eight dimes in the Basketball Champions League Regular Season Gameday 7 contest.

Justin Dentmon ended up with 24 points, but the French club failed to recover following its slow start. Ekene Ibekwe marked his BCL comeback with 19 points, eight boards and five blocks in losing effort.

The “W” at the Palais des Sports de Pau improved Hakan Demir’s side to 3-4 in Group B. Laurent Vila’s team is now 2-5.
