Peristeri winmasters led all the way and ultimately captured the 87-79 win against Gaziantep on Wednesday evening.

Ten fast points powered by Panagiotis Vasilopoulos got the Greek club on the preferred side of the Basketball Champions League Regular Season Gameday 8 affair. Moses Kingsley with a 17-point, 12-rebound double-double and Will Hatcher with 15 points took care of the rest.

Completing the two-game sweep brought the team coached by Nikos Papanikolopoulos to 5-3 in Group C. Nenad Markovic’s club fell to 2-6 with its third straight loss on the road.

The hosts missed Gaios Skordilis and Christos Saloustros exited early due to injury, but only ten players suited up for Gaziantep. The last-minute scratch of Ismail Cem Ulusoy (illness) certainly did not help.

Stevan Jelovac put up 18 points in losing effort at the Arena of GS Peristeri. Jason Rich finished with 17 points and Ivan Buva with 15.
