Down 12 in the second quarter, Happy Casa Brindisi started the second half strong and went on for the 96-82 victory on Wednesday evening. The Italian club only knocked down three shots beyond the arc, but secured its fourth win in as many Basketball Champions League games at the PalaPentassuglia this season.

Adrian Banks led the comeback charge with 22 points behind 10/13 field goals in the Regular Season Gameday 8 contest. The 33-year-old guard was too much to handle for Tomas Rinkevicius’ players.

John Brown posted a 19-point, 11-rebound double-double. Darius Thompson and Tyler Stone contributed to the “W” with 17 points apiece. The team coached by Francesco Vitucci is now 4-4 in Group D.

The visitors fell to 4-4 losing their third straight away game, ultimately lost the tiebreaker advantage as well despite their first round victory by ten points.

Deividas Gailius went for a team-high 19 points. Gytis Masiulis posted 17 points.
