Season-high performance from Josh Young powered RASTA Vechta to the important 93-86 victory opposite to EB Pau-Lacq-Orthez on Tuesday evening.

The 31-year-old American point guard sank six threes en route for his team-high 27 points. Trevis Simpson added 19 points of his own for the Basketball Champions League Regular Season Round 9 “W”.

Making 16 out of 33 attempts beyond the arc was among key aspects for the two-game sweep over the French outlet. Victory at the Rasta Dome Vechta improved the team coached by Pedro Calles to 5-4 in Group B.

Laurent Vila’s side dropped to 2-7, not much hope left for a playoffs berth. Justin Dentmon scored a game-high 35 points behind 9/14 threes, already had 24 points from the first half.
