After parting ways with Iberostar Tenerife, Darion Atkins signed with Brose Bamberg for the remainder of the 2019-20 season, the German club announced on Wednesday. “I will give my whole heart to the team and leave everything on the court” he promised upon inking his new contract.
The Virginia alum is set to further his third Basketball Champions League campaign under the guidance of Roel Moors. With Tenerife averaged 4.1 points and 2 rebounds per appearance.
Aside BCL, Atkins will debut in easyCredit BBL. Previously competed in Israel with UNET Holon and France with SIG Strasbourg before moving his talents to Spain.
Bamberg currently carries a 4-5 W-L tally in Group C of BCL, is 7-4 in the German league as well.
