Anwil had a bad start to the game but quickly bounced back and prevailed over Burgos in Basketball Champions League

Despite a slow start, Anwil Wloclawek turned the tables and grabbed a 100-90 home win over San Pablo Burgos in Basketball Champions League. Both squads now hold a 5-4 record in Group B.

Tony Wroten scored 20 followed by Ricky Ledo‘s 19 (4-6 threes)  and Chris Dowe’s 16 points. Shawn Jones notched a double-double with 11 points and 17 rebounds.

For Burgos, Earl Clark scored 24 (5-10 threes) and Vitor Benite 22 points (4-8 threes) while Ferran Bassas dished 11 assists aside from his six points.

Burgos was off to a great start leading 17-5 early on but Anwil tied things up by the end of the first quarter (20-20) and went on the halftime rest with a 48-38 lead.

Burgos cut the gap to two points in the third quarter (70-68) and grabbed the lead in the fourth (76-75) but the hosts answered with a 15-3 run to get themselves back on the winning track.
