BAT decided in favor of Mathias Lessort’s side which claimed that Crvena Zvezda “breached the contractual relationship by failing to pay the amounts provided in the Termination Agreement”.

The French center signed a three-year deal with Zvezda in 2017 and after one season, moved to Unicaja.

Although the official announcement came on May 5, 2020, the case – which is dating back to 2019 – was decided earlier and the two sides have already agreed on a settlement, according to the club.

Per BAT:

The French Player Matthias Lessort filed a claim against the Serbian Club Basketball Club Crvena Zvezda for outstanding salaries, bonuses and interest. The Claimant submitted that the Respondent breached the contractual relationship by failing to pay the amounts provided in the Termination Agreement between the Parties. The Respondent did not participate in the proceedings. The claim was upheld.
