For the first time since 2009 Serbia won the Eurobasket U18 after beating Spain in the final.

The final score was 74-62 with Marko Pecarski, son of former player Miroslav Pecarski, leading the way with 14 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists.

Trailing by a point at half-time, tournament MVP Nikola Miskovic started the Serbian charge with the first five points of the second half, as Serbia outscored Spain 21-11 in the third quarter to set up the championship victory.

Miskovic was joined in the All-Star Five by Sergi Martinez from runners-up Spain, bronze-medalist Arnas Velicka of Lithuania, Turkey’s Ragip Berke Atar and tournament leading scorer Sani Campara from Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Lithuania win bronze by beating Turkey 97-88 after overtime.
