FIBA and Unilumin penned a deal through 2023

FIBA announced the long-term deal with Unilumin which will be the associations LED supplier starting from the 2019 Wolrd Cup in China. The deal has been signed until 2023 including the World Cup co-hosted by Japan, Indonesia and the Philippines. Japan.

Per FIBA:

FIBA, the International Basketball Federation, announced that Unilumin has been appointed as the official long-term LED supplier for FIBA’s top-level international competitions. The announcement was made on Tuesday during a signing ceremony in Shenzhen.

The new partnership is set to commence with the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019, taking place from August 31-September 15 in China, and will run through until 2023, which will include the next World Cup, co-hosted by Japan, Indonesia and the Philippines.

Unilumin will showcase Courtside LED Screens, Backstop LED and a range of other innovative LED products in the arena in the eight cities of the World Cup.

A global leader in its market, Unilumin is a leading LED solution provider for international top-level sporting events including the Olympic Games and the FIFA World Cup as well as the upcoming FIBA Basketball World Cup. As part of the agreement, Unilumin will develop a range of co-branded Unilumin/FIBA LED Screens customized for basketball competitions, which will be launched on the market in 2020.

The agreement was brokered by FIBA Marketing, the strategic partnership between FIBA and Infront.
