Even without injured star Milos Teodosic, Segafredo Virtus Bologna got the easy 75-57 over San Lorenzo de Almagro in the first semi-final of the FIBA Intercontinental Cup 2020 and will play in Sunday’s Final.

Vince Hunter came off the bench and finished the game with 16 points and two rebounds, two blocks, and one assist in just 16 minutes of action.

He got a lot of help from Giampaolo Ricci who collected a double-double of 10 points and 10 rebounds. Dar Tucker finished with 16 points, three rebounds and two assists in a losing effort.

The game started with Virtus getting a 23-10 lead in the first quarter, however, San Lorenzo cut it to four points (41-37) at halftime. However, Virtus stepped on the gas in the second half and the Argentinian side simply couldn’t keep up.

“They didn’t let us take good shots, they didn’t let us get good spacing,” said San Lorenzo head coach Nestor Garcia.
