Argentinian point guard Facundo Campazo is still waiting to play EuroLeague games for Crvena Zvezda, but until then he will help the national team in the upcoming game in February.
Campazzo has a busy schedule until the end of February. He will be on the team in Crvena Zvezda uniform for the Serbian cup, and then he will travel to his home country since on the 24th he will play for the Argentine national team in the World Cup qualifiers (against Canada in Mar del Plata).
“And for that I am delighted. Most players from the Euroleague cannot play for national teams, because Argentina is far away, and we also have matches in the Euroleague. Now I’ve got an opportunity, I want to use it and try to help the team and coach Pablo Prigioni to win games“, said Facundo Campazzo.
The other Argentinian member in Crvena Zvezda Luca Vildoza will not be joining the national team as confirmed by the club president Nebojsa Covic. Vildoza will stay in Belgrade as Crvena Zvezda has crucial games in EuroLeague.
