Six players scored in double figures as Team USA beat Greece 108 – 86 in an exhibition game that was held in Abu Dabhi to register its fourth win over four preparation matches ahead of the 2023 FIBA World Cup. The squads will meet each other again in the Group Stage of Manila, Philippines.

“Um, I didn’t even know we played them (again) in 10 days,” Anthony Edwards said, per The Athletic. He paced the USA side with a game-high 21 points. “But that’s cool. It should be, it should be a better game.”

Cameron Johnson dropped 13 points, Austin Reaves and Jaren Jackson had 11 points apiece, Bobby Portis posted 11 points plus seven rebounds, and Mikal Bridges delivered 10 points plus five rebounds for USA. Jalen Brunson contributed all of his nine points in the last period while dishing out seven assists.
