Nikola Jović is expected to join Serbia’s national team during this summer’s World Cup qualifiers, according to Meridian sport.

The 23-year-old forward is set to be available for head coach Dušan Alimpijević, adding another NBA player to the Serbian roster alongside Nikola Jokić, who is also expected to play during the summer windows.

After signing a new contract with the Miami Heat ahead of the 2025-26 season, Jović enjoyed another year of development in the NBA. The versatile forward, who turned 23 on June 9, was one of Serbia’s most reliable performers at the previous EuroBasket and is reportedly healthy, rested, and ready to rejoin the national team.

While Bogdan Bogdanović is not expected to feature in the upcoming games against Bosnia and Herzegovina and Switzerland, he could return for Serbia’s August gathering as the road to the 2027 FIBA World Cup continues.
