Ognen Kuzmic wanted a long time ago to play for the Serbian national team and he will probably do it this summer at Spain in the upcoming FIBA World Cup. The center of Golden State Warriors denied last year to play for Bosnia, though he’s born in Doboj declaring that his wish is to play for Serbia.

The biggest supporter of his willingness to play for Serbia is his friend and teammate in the NBA, Nemanja Nedovic who confirmed that Ognen has already informed the Serbian federation about his decision. So, if Aleksander Djordevic chooses him, the 23-year-old center will take part first time in an international game. In his NBA rookie season he played in 21 games.
