The trip of the Slovenian national team in China ended with one more defeat by the Russian B national team in the Stankovic Cup final. The final score was 73-72, however once more the team of coach Zdovc played without its biggest star, Phoenix’s Goran Dragic, who of course will be available for the upcoming FIBA World Cup.
His brother, Zoran, did the best he could with 17 points, despite 1/7 threes, 7 rebounds, 5 assists, 4 steals and two turnovers. The top scorer for Russia with 13 points was CSKA‘s Aleksandr Gudumak.
