Serbia lost in its last preparation game in front of the World Cup (102-96 by New Zealand) but everything it’s less important than the big fight between Vladimir Micov and Sasa Djordjevic during the game.

The 29-year old forward wasn’t satisfied by the way that the coach of Serbian national team used him and shouted at him. Djordjevic reacted and Micov left the court. This action led the new player of Galatasaray out the squad for the World Cup.

After the game, Djordjevic was very hard against his player who left Hala Pionir: “His short career in the national team has been completed. At the moment when he threw the towel, I stopped counting on him. He didn’t want to turn around when I called him. This jersey was worn by much larger names than him”.

Once again Serbia faced a lot of problems in defense allowing three players of New Zealand to score 20+ points. Kirk Penney scored 29 (with 5/7 3ps), Vukona 22 and Webster 21.

France seems ready for the Word Championship even without Tony Parker. The European champions crashed Australia (73-50) in a easy night, with 4 players of Vincent Collet scoring in double digits.
