Turkey finished its preparation games with the worst record among the European teams (alongside with Finland) having only one win and six defeats. The only win was against Puerto Rico so Ergin Ataman scheduled one more friendly game against them. His players won again (94-73).
The friendly game was held 40 kms outside Madrid and helped Turkey to start the World Cup with more confidence. The leading scorer was Ender Arlsan (12 points).
