Slovenia didn’t face any trouble on the way to the 89-68 win over Mexico. This time Zoran Dragic with 22 points was the top scorer of the winners and Goran Dragic added 18 points and six assists. For the Americans Gustavo Ayon had 23 points but very little help from his teammates.

Against one of the weakest teams of the FIBA World Cup, Australia did what was expected and got an easy 89-55 win against Korea. Joe Ingles with 17 points led a balanced offensive effort as the Boomers dished 23 assists in total. The key of the game was the rebound difference as the winners had a 47-18 edge and that advantage was huge.

Lithuania stayed unbeaten with a win over Angola (75-62). However the game wasn’t a walk in the park as expected specially during the first half, when the eventual winners had just three points lead (38-35). Lietuva and Slovenia are tied on the top of the standings (2-0), followed by Australia and Angola (1-1), while Mexico and Korea are still win-less (0-2)
