Miroslav Raduljica scored an international career-high 28 points, leading Serbia to a 105 – 87 victory in Belgrade for Round 2 of the World Cup Qualifiers.

The Serbian center surpassed his previous record of 27 with the national team, which he had set in a EuroBasket 2015 94 – 81 win over Finland.

Raduljica shot 7/11 from the field and 14/18 from the line while also grabbing 8 rebounds, dishing out 4 assists and stealing the ball thrice in less than 30 minutes. Τhe “Orlovi” made the 2/2, following their win over Austria in the opener.

Milan Macvan had 18 points and 6 assists while 20-year-old Stephan Peno added 17 points plus 9 assists.

The huge efforts of Mike Dixon (36 points, 9 assists) weren’t enough for Georgia that was leading 44-45 at the break but got overwhelmed in the second half where the hosts scored 61 points. The team dropped to 0-2 in Group G.
