Doncic included in the Slovenian NT preselection

Just one week after the NBA draft, Luka Doncic may have to play again for the Slovenian national team for the FIBA World Cup qualifiers.

The EuroLeague MVP is included in the Slovenian national team pre-selection which will face Spain on the 28th of June, just one week after the NBA draft, and Montenegro on the 1st of July.

His Real Madrid teammate, naturalized Slovenian big man Anthony Randolph was also called. Both players couldn’t play in the first two qualifiers windows, due to their obligation with Real Madrid for the EuroLeague.

 

The list also includes the following players: Jaka Blažič, Vlatko Čančar, Žiga Dimec, Tadej Ferme, Gregor Hrovat, Jan Kosi, Miha Lapornik, Jurij Macura, Blaž Mahkovic, Blaž Mesiček, Edo Murić, Aleksej Nikolić, Klemen Prepelič, Matic Rebec, Luka Rupnik, Žan Mark Šiško, Gašper Vidmar, Luka Vončina, Saša Zagorac.
