Turkish national team head coach Ufuk Sarica has picked 17 players for the squad’s preliminary roster ahead of the June-July World Cup Qualifiers.

The roster features Cleveland Cavaliers swingman Cedi Osman and Philadelphia 76ers wing Furkan Korkmaz who are back with the “12 Giant Men” for the first time after the EuroBasket 2017.

Darussafaka Istanbul guard and EuroCup MVP Scottie Wilbekin is also included as the team’s new naturalized player. Wilbekin replaces Fenerbahce guard Bobby Dixon (a.k.a Ali Muhammad).

Turkey, that is 2-2 in Group B, will face Ukraine on June 28 and then  Sweden on July 2. Both games will be held in Ankara.
