Greek national team roster cut to 15 players

Giannis Bourousis once more will be the leading presence in the Greek national team roster for the upcoming FIBA World Cup qualifying games.

With the notable absences of Nick Calathes and Kostas Sloukas on the backcourt and of Giorgos Printezis and Kostas Papanikolaou on the front line, the Greek national team is preparing for the upcoming FIBA World Cup qualifiers against Israel and Estonia.

The 15 players which remain available are the following: Giannis Athinaiou, Thanasis Antetokounmpo, Panagiotis Vasilopoulos, Charis Giannopoulos, Nikos Gkikas, Dimitris Katsivelis, Gianoulis Larentzakis, Vangelis Mantzaris, Vangelis Margaritis, Dinos Mitoglou, Giannis Bourousis, Lefteris Bochoridis, Ioannis Papapetrou, Christos Saloustros and Linos Chrisikopoulos.

No Greek player from the NBA is included on the roster, but Giannis Antetokounmpo is expected to be included on the September roster.
