The third window of the FIBA World Cup Qualification games is upon us and European teams are chasing a ticket to the big event.

The third window kicked in with a triumphant victory for Latvia, paced by Janis Strelnieks. The 28-year-old guard put on a 27-point performance with an almost perfect field goal (11 out of 14 attempts), thus his team was able to get past Sweden easily with an 82-72 win.

Strelnieks’ performance was perfectly accompanied by San Antonio Spurs‘ Davis Bertans’ 22 points.

Greece sealed its fifth straight win in the qualifiers against Israel, as 24-year-old Giannoulis Larentzakis paved the way with his 17 points.

Quino Colom paced Spain to victory over Slovenia with a 72-83 win with his 16 points (3/5 from the three-point line), five assists and four rebounds.

Cedi Osman and Furkan Korkmaz led Turkey to a second key victory against Ukraine, adding 20 and 21 points each.
