Juancho Hernangomez played for Spain in the third window of the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 European Qualifiers for Spain. That was the only choice for him as he said it in his interview for Marca.
“To be back has been a great feeling, to compete again to win,” the 22-year-old said. “I’m happy to play with that great group of players and live a sensational week with them.”
Spain is still undefeated in FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 European Qualifiers and Denver Nuggets big man will always be ready to play for his country.
“I’ll try to play with Spain as much as I can,” Hernangomez said. “I’ll always be available and always say yes, if I’m cleared.”, said Hernangomez.
Spain is as close as any side to clinching a spot in next year’s 32-team FIBA Basketball World Cup. They will begin Second Round action in Group I at Ukraine on September 14 and follow that with a home game against Latvia on September 17.
