Jan Vesely will make his well-anticipated return to Czech Republic’s national team – alongside Tomas Satoransky – this September, as the team will face Russia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
“We’re all here to do everything we can to get to the World Cup,” Vesely told idnez.cz after Monday’s practice (as adapted by FIBA). “It’s a big scene, the best players in the world are there, it’s not just EuroBasket, so it’d be great to get there.”
“I haven’t played for two months, so I’m looking forward to it. I believe we’ll be well prepared for Russia”, Fenerbahce‘s superstar adds.
The Czechs currently hold a 5-1 record, behind undefeated France, so these two September games will be of vital importance.
