With five seconds remaining for the end of the second overtime of the World Cup Qualifiers game between Lithuania and the Netherlands, Mantas Kalnietis hit the 3-pointer to hand “Lietuva” the win 95 – 92 and the ticket to China 2019.

Charlon Kloof, who previously went 1/2 from the line on the other end and the Netherlands fell after putting up a huge fight against the undefeated Group J leaders.
Kloof had previously forced the first overtime with a splendid steal on Mindaugas Kuzminskas and the bucket.

Kalnietis was also his team’s top scorer with 21 points to go with his five assists and four rebounds. Lukas Lekavicius and Eimandas Bendzius added 14 points apiece.
For the “Oranje”, that fell to 3-5, Kloof had 19 points plus five assists. Thomas Van Der Maars pitched in 16 points.
