The Serbs will have to wait until the final round of the FIBA World Cup qualifiers in order to secure a spot in China

Milos Teodosic returned to action with the jersey of the Serbian national team, he had 16 points and 10 assists, but he missed three crucial shots in the final seconds and Estonia beat Serbia by one point (71-70).

Stevan Jelovac scored 19 points and had the chance to tie the game from the free throw line with just two seconds left. He missed his final free-throw attempt, Dragan Milosavljevic got the rebounds, but he also missed the chance to win it, despite scoring in total 16 points.

Kristjan Kitsing and Kristian Kullamae scored 18 points each in front of their home crowd. Despite the win, Estonia with a 3-8 record is out of the race for the final open ticket in Group L and Serbia with a 6-5 record remains third at the moment, however, both Georgia (5-5) and Israel (4-6) are contenders for the third spot that leads to China. Greece (9-1) and Germany (9-1) have both qualified.
